Children in Need
Thanks to all that contributed towards Children in Need. We raised £270 towards the charity by wearing pyjamas to school, selling Pudsey biscuits, cakes and milkshake. We also had a Photo Booth in school!
Macmillan Coffee Morning
A Macmillan Coffee Morning was held at the school on Friday morning, September 27th. We had a very busy morning with members of the Eco-Council welcoming parents and friends, selling raffle tickets and selling cakes. We had a successful morning and raised £560 for the charity! Thank you for your support.
KS2 pupils had been busy creating a bunting for the Coffee Morning during the Urdd session. And the pupils joined in on the fun on the day by wearing green or purple to school and sold green and purple jelly, biscuits with icing and squash.
The Prayer Garden
Our Prayer Garden was opened on the morning of Thursday, July 20th, 2017. The Garden was opened by the Reverend Alun Evans. The pupils had the opportunity to design the Garden and the school worked closely with the Church to implement the plans. A special thanks must be given to St Twrog Church for their sponsorship of the cost of the work and thanks to the members for their hard work in preparing the garden.
Llanddarog Show
Welcome to Llanddarog Show Children’s Tent 2019. Our theme this year was Space. The pupils were busy competing in various competitions at school, at home and on the day of the show.
Sports Day
The school sports day was held on Thursday, July 4th. We had a successful, fun afternoon and the pupils took part in a variety of different races. Many parents and friends came to support and the presenter Marc Griffiths broadcasted the event live on Cymru FM. Well done to everyone who took part.
Leavers Service
A Leavers Service for Year 6 pupils was held on Tuesday, July 16th. All the pupils presented their hopes for the future and a copy of the New Testament was given to each pupil as a gift from St Twrog Church. We wish them all the best in Maes y Gwendraeth.
